Reliving the West through ghost stories
The Missoula Art Museum will present an evening of storytelling of contemporary ghost stories.
Inspired by Dagny Walton’s This Land is Haunted, this Flash Fiction Pop-Up tonight March 13 showcases writers as they present original short stories that reimagine Western myths with a supernatural twist.
Writers will delve into themes of colonization, the mythic cowboy, drawing inspiration from Walton’s artwork. These captivating stories address haunting violence, lingering spirits, and the lasting impact of historical injustice in the American West.
ALSO coming up at the Missoula Art Museum is an album release by singer Josh Farmer, who will perform songs from his new album "More Flowers."

That event is March 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.
The Missoula Art Museum is at 335 N. Pattee St. in Missoula.
