Celebrate the joy of cherries

            The 13th annual Yellow Bay Cherry Blossom Festival will be May 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Yellow Bay Community Clubhouse located on MT Hwy 35 at mile-marker 18.   The festival is free and open to the public, and includes artisans and crafters offering an array of locally produced items.  The day-long activities include door prizes, raffles, a bake sale, and music. Lunch by the Yellow Bay Ladies Auxiliary will be available for purchase.

The festival celebrates the cherry blossoms that traditionally bloom in May signaling the start of the cherry season, and is a major fund-raiser for the Yellow Bay Community Club.  The club supports several local charities and is also responsible for the maintenance of the 75-year-old clubhouse building, home to several community events throughout the year.
